Project Name: Vredenburg Material Recovery Facility
Client: Saldanha Bay Municipality, Western Cape, South Africa
The project comprised the design and construction of a Material Recovery Facility adjacent the existing landfill.
The waste received will be carried past several picking stations via a conveyor belt. The recyclables removed from the waste stream will be deposited in storage containers alongside the picking stations and the tailings will be deposited in a 30m3 hook-lift container.
The tailings from the MRF will be transported via road to the adjacent disposal site.
