| The project comprised the design and construction of a public solid waste drop-off next to the existing Kleinmond Solid Waste Transfer Station.
The drop-off consists of a concrete paved ramp, supported by a wooden pole retaining wall, which the public will use as access to the various areas where their waste can be off-loaded. There are separate off-loading areas for builder’s rubble, recyclables and garden and bush waste. The lower level of the drop-off serves as the storage area for the solid waste containers into which the public will dispose their waste. Bush waste is also chipped in this area. |
