Hermon Public Solid Waste Drop-off

Client: Drakenstein Municipality, Western Cape, South Africa Project Description: The project entailed the establishment of a public solid waste drop-off at Hermon to provide a facility to the general public to drop-off household or garden waste that does not form part of the weekly door-to-door collection service provided by the municipality. The public can dispose of general household waste at this facility free of charge. All wastes disposed at this facility are stored in 6m³ skips which in turn are serviced by the municipality, transported by road and disposed at the Drakenstein Landfill outside Wellington.
